Overview.

Speculo Glass Interiors were contracted to carry out the works of new acoustic double glazed partitions and doors for a commercial contractor client of ours.

Due to the specification the project was approached using our DG64 double glazed system which when used in conjunction with 12mm clear toughened glass and 12.8mm acoustic laminated glass provides an acoustic rating of 46dB.

Our glass partitions were then completed using our ClariTec Series doors which integrate seamlessly within our DG64 glazing system. The doors are hung using hydraulic hold open / self close hinges with lever / lock / latch style handles ensuring each employee’s office a sense of privacy.

For framework finish our client opted for RAL 9005 black which is matt powder coat leaving a smooth and durable complex. All the ironmongery used was completed in a stainless steel finish which once combined leaves modern appearance throughout.

Lead time on the project from site survey to completion was approximately 4 weeks. This process includes full site survey, drawing design and approval, supply of material and installation.

Overall the project was smooth and successful.
