Overview.

Speculo Glass Interiors were tasked with the challenge to supply and install this stunning shaped Cross Bar glass partition with double hinged door set dividing our clients newly refurbished home office.

As the partition was acting as atrium glazing we used a 13.5mm clear toughened laminated glass within the fixed partition to provide load bearing resistance and structural stability as advised by building regulations.

This project was very technical due to all the angles and door alignment as the opening was quite defined. We used our hydraulic opening hinges with 180 degree and 90 degree functionality so that when left opened they would not take away any space on the landing.

The design of Cross Bars had to be carefully thought about to ensure a symmetrical appearance was present with which we succeeded in doing.

For framework finish our client opted for the classic RAL 9005 black giving the glass partitions and doors a modern and sleek finish. It also contrasted very well with the fresh white walls.

For such a technical project, the process turned out really smooth with each member of the team coming together collectively to ensure we left our client satisfied. Safe to say this was case.
